Foreign tourist arrivals reached a new milestone in 2013 when it reached 4,681,307, 9.56% over the 4,272,811 in 2012. The highest growth rate was recorded in February (15.8%), June (14.0%), and August (13.0%). South Korea was the biggest source market with 24.9% for 1.17 million arrivals.
