Thai Police named the victim as Edward Joseph Brookes, 63, a tourist on holidays in Thailand from England. According to local media reports this happened yesterday at Karon Beach in Southern Thailand, only hours after storm warnings were issued by local authorities. Canadian Travel Insurance Company Donates Over $11,000 to Red Cross’ Typhoon Haiyan Fund

Canadian travel insurance company, Travel Underwriters, has donated $11,216 to the Canadian Red Cross’ Typhoon Haiyan Fund in support of victims in the Philippines.
