Filipinos still need visa to visit Japan

The Japanese Embassy in Manila has clarified that it is not lifting visa requirements for Filipinos who want to travel to Japan, disputing earlier reports that Philippines and Tokyo are forging a visa-free travel agreement. Alert change followed procedure

The black travel alert for the Philippines was lowered after considering the measures implemented to improve tourist safety, Secretary for Security TK Lai says.
